UNIDO interventions are implemented in line with state-of-the-art and international best-practice technical assistance approaches developed through constant exchanges with other international implementing agencies aiming to drive economic growth, improve the business climate, and increase competitiveness in Egypt. UNIDO’s main purpose is to provide shared prosperity for a long term through establishing a developed industrial base.
Through this framework, UNIDO in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Industry through “The Egyptian Programme for Promoting Industrial Motor Efficiency” kicked off the second rewinding workshop “Rewinding 3-Phase Induction Motor” targeting engineers and technicians who handle rewinding motors in various industrial plants and rewinding workshops. The workshop aims at building the attendees’ capacity to rewind and maintain 3-Phase induction motor and promoting the best practices to rewind these motors in Egypt. The training started at the 13th of March and ended the 15th of March, the first 2 days were theoretical and were conducted at the sixth of October Investor Association, whereas the last day will allow participants to practically practice the knowledge gained at the rewinding motors workshop at Ahmed Daoud & Co.
