Within the framework of the “Egyptian Programme for Promoting Industrial Motor Efficiency” which is implemented by UNIDO and funded by Global Environment Facility (GEF) in close collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, a fifth physical awareness session was conducted today to raise awareness about the vitality of energy-efficient motors in the industrial sector and pinpoint potential saving opportunities in industrial motor driven systems while knowing their economic and technical feasibility aspects and its benefits specifically in free zones like “Port Said”. The awareness session was conducted in Port Said’s Investor’s Association as part of the project’s efforts to spread awareness in extended geographical areas of Egypt’s industrial sectors and reaching out to most of Egypt’s industrial key players. The session was also covered by Port Said’s renowned media channel, Al-Canal Channel, that interviewed UNIDO and IMC representatives.
